Welcome to City Scribe!

Welcome to the City Scribe!

City Scribe is a blog dedicated to the exploring, documenting, and understanding of the cultural, community, economic, and political developments in the New Age urban setting. More specifically, the City Scribe focuses on the creative and innovative efforts of the Millennial Generation as they confront legacy issues of the previous generations and deal with new occurrences in the modern world.

With globalization and advances in technology, wealth is transferred and “winners” are born. With these benefits also come costs, and those who bear those costs are deemed “losers”.  These losers become part of the forgotten groups, the many disenfranchised people here and abroad who find their reality a little more grim and themselves further from “the American Dream”.

In this tumultuous, rapidly changing world, the media seems to ignore these groups searching for profits rather than addressing real issues. They sacrifice truth for dollars. NOT THE CITY SCRIBE!!

The City Scribe’s mission is two fold:

  • City Scribe seeks to showcase the efforts of the Millennials to change the world through creativity and entrepreneurship as they address the issues inherited and created.
  • City Scribe seeks to provide assistance in the form of accurate and useful knowledge and information to the disenfranchised and forgotten. By exposing the truth, City Scribe seeks to load the dice for a group that is use to losing.
The City Scribe thanks you for your thoughts, opinions, suggestions, and support on this path to change the world. For emphasis, I say “world” once more as we are all in this together.

As you review the website, consider the tagline and understand it:
The City Scribe: Much More than a Magazine!
It’s a lifestyle, a vehicle of change, and an attempt to change the world.

Much More than a Magazine!
